Statistics

The statistics dashboard provides a multi-tab breakdown of your flying activity. Use it to review totals, spot trends, and prepare for audits or recency checks.

Filter Modes#

Statistics can be scoped to different time windows using the period selector at the top of the screen:

ModeDescription
All TimeAggregates every flight in your logbook
YearShows data for the selected calendar year
MonthShows data for the selected month
WeekShows data for the selected ISO week
  • Use the left / right arrows to navigate to the previous or next period.
  • Tap the period label to jump back to the current period.

Tabs#

By Period#

Year, month, and week totals for:

  • Flights
  • Block time
  • Distance (NM)
  • Passengers (PAX)
  • Fuel (tonnes)
  • CO2 (tonnes)
  • Night time
  • IFR time
  • Simulator time and simulator session count
  • Takeoffs and landings (day / night)
  • Cosmic radiation (microsieverts) and time dilation (nanoseconds)

Each totals card includes a sparkline showing the trend over the selected period, giving you a quick visual indication of whether a metric is rising or falling.

By Aircraft#

Percentage breakdown by registration and type code, showing flight counts and total hours for each aircraft.

By Route#

Route pairs (e.g. CDG-JFK) ranked by frequency.

By Function#

Hours breakdown by function on board: PIC, SIC, DUAL, and INS.

By Crew Time#

All crew time categories displayed with their respective totals. Simulator sessions are excluded from crew time totals.

By Airport#

Most visited airports ranked by number of departures and arrivals.

Delay Analysis#

  • D0 percentage – the share of flights departing on time (D0 = departed within 0 minutes of scheduled time).
  • D3 percentage – the share of flights departing within 3 minutes of scheduled time.
  • D15 percentage – the share of flights departing within 15 minutes of scheduled time.
  • Average delays broken down by airport, helping you identify airports with chronic delays.

Charts#

Monthly Activity (Stacked Bar Chart)#

A stacked bar chart shows monthly flight hours split by day and night time, giving you a clear picture of your seasonal activity and night-flying ratio.

Cumulative Hours (Area Chart)#

An area chart displays your cumulative flight hours over time. The vertical axis auto-scales between the minimum and maximum values for better readability.

D0 Performance Over Time#

Monthly trend chart tracking your on-time departure percentage.

Fuel Delta Over Time#

Monthly trend chart comparing planned versus actual fuel burn.

Cosmic Radiation Annual Chart#

A spline chart showing your cumulative annual cosmic radiation dose, with years on the X axis. Helps track long-term radiation exposure trends.

Year-over-Year Comparison Overlay PRO#

Overlay monthly totals from all years on the same chart, with a toggle to show or hide individual years. Useful to compare activity patterns across your entire career.

Day / Night Split (Donut Chart) PRO#

A donut chart showing the proportion of day versus night flying hours across all flights in the selected period.

Aircraft Type Breakdown (Donut Chart) PRO#

A donut chart showing flight hours distributed across aircraft type codes (e.g. A320, B737, C172).

Instructor Section PRO#

A dedicated instructor section for pilots with training activity:

  • PIC / INS / EXAM donut charts – breakdown of hours by function (Pilot in Command, Instructor, Examiner)
  • Monthly training chart – bar chart showing training hours per month
  • Simulator session count – number of simulator sessions conducted as instructor

Session Type Breakdown#

Flight hours broken down by session type with color coding:

ColorSession Type
OrangeFLIGHT
BlueSIMULATOR
GreyGENERAL

Additional Features#

Fuel to CO2 Conversion#

CO2 emissions are derived from fuel burn using the formula:

CO2 (tonnes) = fuel (tonnes) / 0.8 × 3.075

This converts fuel mass to volume (density factor 0.8) and applies the standard jet fuel CO2 emission factor (3.075 kg CO2 per litre).

Longest / Shortest Flights Toggle#

Toggle between viewing your longest and shortest flights ranked by block time or distance.

Milestones Tracker#

Track progress toward personal flying milestones (e.g. 1,000 hours PIC, 500 landings). Each milestone displays:

  • Current count and target
  • Progress percentage bar
  • Estimated date of achievement (ETA) based on your recent flying rate

Distance Milestones#

Distance milestones include astronomical references for context – for example, comparing your total distance flown to the distance to the Moon, Mars, or other celestial bodies.

Fun Facts Popups#

Tap any metric card (fuel, radiation, distance, etc.) to open a fun facts popup with entertaining equivalents:

  • PAX – total passengers carried compared to the closest city population
  • Fuel – total fuel burned expressed in relatable units (e.g. swimming pools, tanker trucks)
  • Radiation 12M – rolling 12-month cosmic radiation dose with fun fact comparisons (e.g. chest X-rays, banana equivalent doses)
  • Cosmic radiation accumulated across all flights (microsieverts)
  • Time dilation experienced due to relativistic effects (nanoseconds)
  • Sleepless nights – total night time expressed as equivalent sleepless nights

Block Time Calculation#

Statistics use block time without relief deduction – the full block time is counted regardless of whether relief time was logged during the flight.

Country Counter#

Displays the number of unique countries visited, determined from the ICAO prefixes of departure and arrival airports across all your flights.
