SETTINGS #
Here are the global settings. You can select toggles if you want to display extended stats, time dilation, etc…
EASA | FAA #
by selecting EASA or FAA you can check your Flight Time Limitation (TOTALS&STATS tab) and Flight Duty Periods (FDP tab) according to EASA or FAA rules.
IATA | ICAO #
by selecting IATA or ICAO you can enter IATA/ICAO airport code while creating a new flight. Anyway, if IATA code exists, airports will be displayed by IATA code.
LONG HAUL MULTI CREW #
by enabling this you’ll be able to split PIC/SIC/RELIEF time within a single flight in case of supernumerary crew. You can also activate the DEDUCT RELIEF time option in case your airline/regulation requests your rest time shouldn’t be considered as flying time.
Note that these extra fields will be displayed if blocktime is calculated (i.e you have to enter OOOI times)
UTC | LOCAL #
Select your displayed time reference as Zulu or Local. Beware it’s related to offset time settings in database, some airports have not.
HH:MM | HH:MM:SS #
by selecting HH:MM or HH:MM:SS you choose the time format for OUT|IN block times. HH:MM:SS is the ACARS format.
PASSENGERS/CARGO #
Select this choice will display the right stats according to your activity (pax/cargo)
DARK MODE #
You can select your preference : LIGHT or DARK mode. Choosing AUTO refers to your device dark mode settings.
NOTIFICATIONS #
You can edit your notifications preferences. FlightLog will not send too many notifications, only for important news. A sub-choice is concerning Space Weather notifications you can enable/disable here.
AUTO UPDATE #
Select this choice will auto update your flight times. As soon as you reach some network, FlightLog will search for any flight time to be updated automatically. Your flights must be max 7 days old. You can also pull to refresh flights list to update.
DUTY TIME #
By pushing this button you can edit your own airline duty time rules. By default it’s 01:30 before flight, 00:00 after.
ENABLE FTL ALERTS #
Enable/disable alerts in case of flight time limitations reached. Not 100% reliable yet.
TIME DILATION #
You can here activate the Time Dilation option : time dilation according to Einstein theories will be displayed under each flight and cumulated ones in SUMMARY page.
EXTENDED DATA #
Activating this tab will show extended stats as distance equivalent (earth-sun, year-light –second-light I mean– etc…) CO2e rejected and radiation dose received.
OPS DATA #
Activating this tab will show OPERATIONAL DATA buttons within your flighs. See section OPS Data for more details.
CALCULATE COSMIC RADIATION FOR ALL FLIGHTS #
will calculate in batch the total radiation received for all flights, based on block time and fixed altitude of FL370. Be aware clicking this button will erase all your previously computed dose with specific altitude you may have done.
VFR/IFR and NIGHT #
Deprecated since V2.2.3
will activate the fields IFR/VFR and Night time within each flight.
Night flight time is automatic.
AIR FRANCE IPN | TRANSAVIA #
is only for AF/Transavia pilots.
MIXED FLEET TYPE RATING #
Activate this if you fly on mixed type rating (for time being only B777/B787 and A330/A350 are automatically detected)
SETUP FLIGHT TIME #
select and fill your previous total of flight hours to take into account your total experience in your flight log.
CURE #
This will fix some troubles on your log, by reindexing all your flights. Use it if your log is no more responding. This will also remove all duplicated flights in case of bad importation, and force your flights to be considered as flown, and not anymore scheduled. Please save your log first.
ERASE #
It will totally erase your logbook.
